Jude was very professional and trustworthy, and was as fine a craftsman as has been written about him on Angie's List reviews and elsewhere. Although he took much care in the window installation, it didn't seem to present him with any problems he couldn't easily solve as he has plenty of experience in larger home remodeling and renovation projects.

Look no further if you are doing a bathroom remodel! This contractor does lovely work. We own a 100 year old house that had many challenging aspects to the remodel including old sewer pipes and plumbing that needed to be replaced. All problems were solved effeciently and economically. Jude was the neatest contractor we have ever had work on our home and believe me we have had quite a few rennovations done.
The work was not only timely and neately completed, Jude offered some design ideas that worked out beautifully. In addition, Jude came up with some innovative solutions to unexpected situations such as hand crafting thresholds. We will continue to use Jude for all future renovations.
We purchased a 1962 ranch home which had been abused and abandoned. Virtually nothing had been done to the kitchen and bathrooms and they had to be taken down to the studs. There were also numerous other repairs and replacements necessary to make the house safe and habitable and bring it back to what it must have been when it was built--a well-designed, well-built house. Mr. Gillam worked with us from beginning to end. While he always respected our ideas and choices, he also did not let us make any mistakes, or sidestep any safety issues. He helped us find quality materials at reasonable prices.
Mr. Gillam is a master with tile, carpentry, paint, plumbing. He saw the electrical issues with our house as too much for himself, so he brought in an electrician who was also excellent. Mr. Gillam took his time and we now have a great home.
